Details

DescriptionCompact album containing 100 individual pockets, each designed to hold a single film negative. Of these, 58 pockets currently contain negatives. The album likely belonged to either Alfred Amory Deans or Joseph Storry Deans.

The majority of the negatives depict aircraft from the 1930s, with a small selection of family photos and other planes. A handwritten index at the front of the album catalogues the contents; however, several listed negatives are missing, and some present negatives are not recorded.
