DescriptionFour photographs taken 5 April 2023 document silt deposits and flood damage following Cyclone Gabrielle in February 2023. The first image looks west toward the Kaweka Range, with Omarunui Road running along the left side of the river and Springfield Road on the far right of the photo. The second image faces toward Havelock North, showing Omarunui Road to the right and Springfield Road to the left. The stopbank breach on Omarunui Road is visible in the lower portion of the second photograph. The third and fourth photographs show close-up views of the stopbank breach with workers and machinery moving silt and debris.
