DescriptionFramed copy of a poem "Our Village" about Havelock North Village, written by Eleanor Mary Copland Adkins (1882-1968). There is a black pen illustration of a church, buildings and trees on the left hand side with printed words "The Village. Havelock North. With Greetings". Possibly a woodcut or lino cut. The item has some browning and staining to the paper and the frame is in good condition, the backing paper is torn and fragile. A second image shows a copy printed on card. She was also a competitor, letter colourist, upper(?) artist and embroiderer.
